The Things Kids Do....

Ok so it 11 oclock PM and Ella still is not sleeping. Not really paying attention to her while watching TV I yell for her to see where she went. Hoping that she went in our room and crawled in bed with Tony and is sleeping..............WRONG! Here she comes in the living room and her hair is all wet. Lots of things are running through my head like how did just here hair get wet and is water all over the floor in the bathroom and how big of a mess did she just make. I ask her "Ella why is your hair all wet. How did your hair just wet?'' She told me that she was hot....(my house is cold like always 69 degrees) and that she got her hair wet. I asked her how and she side daddy turn the bath tub on. I know that tony didnt get up and i didnt hear any water on. After asking her again she then told me that she put her head in the TOILET!!!!!! Are you kidding me ........ no she is not. Needless to say here we are at 11.20 and ella is in the damn bath tub..............I really want to pull my hair out.

Emma won again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today the girls and I went out to Grandma Jansens. As Were getting out of the car and walking up to the house grandma's coming out on the phone repeatedly asking for Emma. I was like shes about ten minutes behind us coming with mom why whats wrong. At the same time we were pulling up grandma got a call that Emma Meinhart won the Massey Harris quilt the Harvest Fest in pic-villie. That makes the second thing she has won intwo weeks. She won a savings bond at the church breakfast two weeks ago. I won the quilt at the breakfast so thats 2 quilts we won. Go us. Do I need to buy a lottery ticket.....maybe. The crazy thing about Emma winning is that the drawing was for people all over the state. Since the quilt is a Massey Harris and thats grandpas favorite and we are john deere people we are going to give it grandpa for christmas.........

Work Work & more Work----Emma birthday

So I started this new job on tuesday I am super excited still am but now the 3rd day and I am working from home (office is getting worked on) and I brought work home with me last night and worked on it for almost 4 hours. I have a huge dead line to meet with some stuff and lots of things have to get approved by the big boss in chicago and the legal before it gets the ok. WHAT HAPPENED TO STARTING A NEW JOB AND EASING INTO IT! I feel like have been going a hundred miles a hour since tuesday. Yesterday I felt like I only got to hold/rock/play with Elaina for like a hour total. I hope this is not how it is going to be all the time. I do like what I am doing and who my boss is but dang I have not worked in town for 3 years. On top of that i am suppose to only be 3day a week...........lets see if I get a call from Chicago tomorrow. The boss is back there and I still have a couple things to take care of before he get back on tuesday.

Also little miss Emma is turning 6 tomorrow it is so hard to believe. What do I get a 6 year old who has major attitude? Nothing..........no, I better get here something or we will have a huge melt down on our hands. anyway Happy Birthday Emma Rose
